June is the National Immigrant Heritage Month. The City of Holyoke is celebrating with several activities dedicated to recognizing the contributions of immigrants from different cultures, and countries. As part of this celebration, radioplasma will feature during June, a series of stories from immigrants, living in Holyoke.

Our first feature story is with one of the honorees of this year’s Immigrant Heritage Month celebration: Marikler Toensmeier, a native of Guatemala, and a beloved member of our community.

You can follow the activities for this celebration at the Wistariahurst Museum’s website: www.wistariahurst.org
