Ginetta Candelario – Cien Años de Feminismos Dominicanos

As a joint effort to build an audio archive of events of social and cultural relevance for our history and communities, El Sol Latino, a local independent newspaper, The Holyoke Public Library and radioplasma, documented this lecture to make it available to the public for future reference. Listen to the entire presentation of “Cien Años de Feminismos Dominicanos”, by Ginetta Candelario, Ph.D. at the City University of New York. This is a collection of primary documents related to the birth and development of feminism in the Dominican Republic. Ginetta Candelario is an Associate Professor of Sociology and of Latin Americans & Latino/a Studies at Smith College.

This reading took place in the Community Room of the Holyoke Public Library, on February 23, 2017.
