This is the audio of the public event presentation “¡Jurakán! Holyoke and Puerto Rico linked by water”, recorded at the Holyoke Health Center on March 14, 2019. This is a joint presentation on the Puerto Rican population in Holyoke, the connection between Holyoke and Puerto Rico, the effects of the financial crisis and the humanitarian crisis caused by Hurricane Maria on the Puerto Rican migration to the region, and the impact on local communities in New England.
