STCC has generously offered to donate the proceeds from all three performances that weekend to the House of Colors LGBTQ youth resource center.
The plays, which will be performed back-to-back, are “Some Prepared Remarks,” a one-man show written by Jason Gray Platt that covers a man’s life in seven short speeches, and the satire “Removing the Glove.”
Theater professor Phil O’Donoghue describes “Removing the Glove” as a comedy that shines a light on intolerance faced by teenagers in high school.
More information and tickets for this benefit, are available at the STCC website.

House of Colors meetings take place every Monday at 5:00 pm at 301 Main St, in Holyoke, to share a meal and discuss issues that are pertinent to the LGBTQ community while having fun, recharging and building friendships and connections with one another.
