Gladys Lebron-Martinez is the incumbent City Councilwoman for Ward 1.

Running unopposed, she shared her reasons to continue serving at Holyoke City Council, as well as the main concerns with Ward 1 and the city, that would be part of the work in this new two-year term at City Council.

Also we addressed some issues regarding representation, holding power in local government, and ways to engage better with the underrepresented members of the community.
