We close our June’s series of immigrant stories, with a powerful, and inspiring conversation with Holyoke resident, Samantha Singh. She is from Guyana. Her story shows how much immigrants contribute to the society, as they care for the wellness of their families, and their community as well.
June is National Immigrant Heritage Month, and The City of Holyoke celebrated it throughout the month, with different events at the Wistarihurst Museum, The Heritage State Park, and the Holyoke Council on Aging & Senior Center. This series of immigrant stories produced by radioplasma, is a homage to celebrate the diversity of immigrants that make of Holyoke, home.
