Radioplasma, as an independent media outlet wants to have an open a dialog about how #fakenews, #alternativefacts, and other media related issues, became a concern for our society. We invited journalist Natalia Muñoz to talk about the current status of media, journalism, and the way social media is and should be utilized.

The United States Presidential campaign in 2016 and the first week of the new Government in 2017 are examples of how media, information, and ethics, are handled in ways that are concerning and questionable. The White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer,  made false statements and refused to answer questions, followed by the Counselor to the President,  Kellyanne Conway, giving “alternative facts” a new meaning, as a way to justify Spicer’s lies. This episode was made, as a response to these events.
